Converse have released a new collection of trainers, teaming up with The Clash in order to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of 'London Calling'. The range takes the classic Converse High Top Chuck Taylor's and creates three different styles. There are two styles in the form of The Clash jacket and The Clash print. However, the highlight of the collection is without doubt the white leather version, which features the word 'London' on the outer side of the shoe and 'Calling' on the inner. In addition to this, the label on the trainer's tongue identifies the individual members of the band and specifics concerning the albums release, a feature of the trainer which I really like.
The trainers are hard to get hold of and have been released in limited numbers, with the best places to find them being Converse's London flagship store on Carnaby Street and Size?.
