Original Penguin by Musingwear is an American lifestyle brand which specialises in clothing and footwear for both men and women. With roots in the culture of the 50's and 60's, being established in 1955 by Abbot Pederson, the brand has been running for over 50 years, most prominently fixed in US culture. The brand was given a re-launch in 2003 after demand from the general public after vintage pieces from the original line came back into circulation. This re-launch led to the creation of new causal and sportswear lines. Since this moment, the brand has spread to a global market, with stores based worldwide today.The Spring/Summer 2010 has produced some interesting items, my favourite feature being the new line of heritage slim fit polo t-shirts. These along with the classic fit polo t-shirts are the best known item produced by Original Penguin, and they are without doubt my favourite Original Penguin item.
